either way its a mess. bet the front is at any rate especially with no photo's.
If anyone gets the chance to find out the vin for me please. It looks to be the third mk1 saloon x-power grey to cop it. Looks like Guy's old car. :(
Just spoken to a bloke called Alan and will be e-mailing him. Going to ask how much for the gear surround, also the exhaust system ( minus the boxes).

Any ideas who's it was Tim?
Looking at the pictures it is one of only 27 with this trim and spec; will be easier once I get the vin which they have said they will supply.

What a shame!
Reassuring to see how intact the passenger compartment looks. I wonder if the engine and gearbox stayed out of it though?

I think its cheeky how they have photographed it on the advert, avoiding most of the damage where many people want the parts!

If you want a washer bottle - try Rover Breakers
Nope, got my own spare and a club 'lend' bottle if needed.

Ha already e-mailed the guy about this car aswell.
His words:
'hello simon the engine has slight damage mate the timing case front cover is cracked & the rocker cover is cracked also .the gear box is fine & the exhaust is twins .'
I also asked the mileage and vin but he just said to call them.
Be interesting to see if he comes back then. With all this interest he may bump his prices up.

just ordered an A/C part from BB autos from this car - most engine ancillaries are actually ok - n/s front corner took the main impact at the front, so o/s and front / rear engine bay area were not as bad as it looks - the driver lost control at high speed, barrell rolled 2 to 3 times and ended up side down in a ditch - hence every panel damaged !! ouch
