Not cheap, but if you need one...
Just listed there this afternoon, but I think you may need to be quick!

Thanks David, good find. Most screens are now showing signs of age, replacement could be the way to go. Bit expensive but fitting included.

I was lucky enough a couple of years ago to snap up one of the last few Mk1 Highline dashes that were floating around which fixed my screen issue for £100 (did take me 2 years to solve the traction control problem it caused though :Duh)
But as even they aren't around any more this is very good to see that there is still the ability to fix the problem!

Reading between the lines, I think it may be 'Last Chance Corral' on those anyway, James :(.

Those of you who are skilled with a soldering iron might want to grab a screen on their own on eBay :

I thought the end of the cable was just clamped down with a locking clip into a socket, not actually soldered onto the pcb?

Unfortunately it is soldered on. If it were clamped down, those offering repair services would be out of a job ;)

A judicious application of heat to the ribbon cable connector on mine was enough to reflow what I understand is 'conductive glue' on mine, resulting in a clear display once more.
