Hi All,
Well after purchasing the 260 i gave her a massive overhaul taking her apart and putting her back together and she was running amazingly, or so i thought.
Yesterday the Air Conditioning pump gave up as it seems is usual with the 260 even though there was no whine and it was free when i tested it the other week.
My Question is can anyone recommend the correct replacement procedure and a competent Air Con specialist near Grantham, Lincolnshire to Vacuum the system and then re-gas as i hate Kwik-Fit and Halfrauds?
From doing this on other cars i believe i will need to replace the condenser and get the new pump? Is this correct?
Also i see it should only have 120ml of all in it so should i empty the oil from the pump before fitting or will this be done when re-gassing?
I appreciate all help and advise given
Cheers
John
