View Full Version : SatNav, Radio, TV system for sale, Sat Nav bit not working.
Hi all.
My SatNav system stopped reading the disc so I upgraded to one of Radio Guys chinese headunits, therefore my complete system is for sale on ebay. Everything else is in working order.

Can I ask a favour, can I have, buy or swap the brackets that attach the CD changer to the brackets in the boot. I lost my ones and they are V8 specific as the holes are different. I have a few sets of the same brackets with fit the changer to all other 75's & ZT that I could send you. See post 7 in this thread for picture explanation https://www.two-sixties.co.uk/mgoc260/html/f0rum/showthread.php?11197-CD-changer-bracket&highlight=CD+brackets . I will keep an eye on the auction also.

.........
The only thing of real value is the CD Changer.
The DVD player is normally water ingress....
I have the head unit and amp and tuner no one wants yet.

Added to my watch list. Neither the cd or sat nav work in my 75. Not concerned about sat nav but it'd be nice to have cd player work but don't know if it's head unit or cd player that's inoperative in my car
Hi Dominic22.
If the final winner doesn't want the brackets then you can have them.
I have removed all the wiring this weekend. That's a job and a half!
I weighed all the equipment, 13kg! over 2 stone! That's gotta knock 0.01s off my 0-60 :-)

Thanks Drew
I can always send the CD brackets for other rover/mg's if he/she needs them, but usually the brackets are not needed for the retorfit as they will already have a CD changer in there set-up.
I think that the loom is a bit different for the V8. I think there is an extension attached for the CD changer. Might be wrong but I seem to recall that.

I'm guessing that unless you've upgraded somehow to a digital TV tuner, then that doesn't work now either?
